I bring my whole self to a task; my curiosity and authenticity shine through in everything I do, and form the foundation of my approach to leadership and to being a mother, sister, daughter, friend and wife. Professionally, I navigate the intricacies of research and the complexities of the business world with a vision to shape the life sciences industry. With my global experience and personal insights, I create synergy between diverse worlds, inspire change and translate potential into realization. I am the bridge between knowledge and action, and my mission is to show that by being curious, genuine and authentic, we can all make a difference. Both my personal and professional journey is a story of transformation and transition. At home, I am supported by a wonderful husband who balances his own career and gives me space to develop mine. Our life is marked by having lived in several countries and our children who were born in China and South Korea respectively. We are enriched by smart, fun, wonderful friends and a diverse family, all of whom contribute different perspectives to my life. They are a source of joy and learning, each person in my circle plays an important role in who I am today. My work spans a wide range – from medical research and development to shaping visions in the international life science industry. I merge worlds and break boundaries with a heart that beats for diversity and a will that bows to none. As a bridge builder between cultures, disciplines and people, I am driven by a mission to include, inspire and create real change.
