My Power
There is a Power that lives within all of us. A Power that each of us can cultivate and strengthen. Even when we are most challenged, it is there, flowing through us as both a gentle and intense energy. I have learned - through the life I have lived, and through over 30 years of working with people and organizations - that the inner Power in the individual grows and is strengthened when we are part of meaningful and supportive communities. We can empower ourselves and each other by being aware of what we focus on; by consciously insisting on living from the Power within ourselves and by insisting on seeing and supporting it in others. That's what we can do together - create a strong you, me and us - and thus a better world. So my most powerful message is: If you don't immediately notice and understand what I mean, be curious and investigate. If you recognize and yearn, become part of a meaningful community that focuses on the energy within us all - both within and outside the community. If you are connected to that energy - to your Power - then use it even more consciously and actively, preferably in a community that thinks about what is greater. Whether it's climate, nature, better living conditions for all, spirituality or whatever your heart calls you to make a difference for. You, I, and the world need it.
